I’m Tim Powers, a 22 year old guy with a ginger afro.

I love classic Minis and have a 1989 Mini Clubman Estate project on the drive. I love motorsport and follow the WEC, in particular the Le Mans 24 Hours, which I have been to three times to date. I also have a huge interest in Theatre, in particular the Technical aspect, with a passion for lighting. I currently volunteer as head technician at Peppercorns Academy, and also help with St Neots Players. In the past I have also helped for a number of other productions, most notably the Touring Big Top Theatre productions in the Circus Tent on the Milk Field/Rugby Club.

I became interested in design when I got my first computer, at the age of 7. Using Microsoft Paint and Jasc Paint Shop Pro I created flyers and posters for my local youth group. I then moved on to Photoshop Elements 6.0 and started taking more interest in designing and building websites.

I spent time as a digital design apprentice at Xigen Design, where I learnt a lot and my design work improved drastically. I was taught how to use Adobe Flash and Adobe Fireworks and learnt many useful design techniques. I also spent a year building up my portfolio and experience working for a web and print company in St Ives, where a number of my designs including two logo designs are now being used.
